Thomas J. Johnson 

Thomas was born in Portland, Oregon. His early interests in painting and photography later culminated in a BFA & MFA, from Maharishi International University in 1987 and 1990.  His work has been included in group shows in New Mexico, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri and Oregon.

"The influences on my paintings and prints can be found in the forces which act on the landscape; water, wind and light.  Using colors and forms of the New Mexico landscape I create paintings and prints both representative and expressive of forces in nature and how I see them."
